Cheval Blanc, France
Cheval Blanc is a four-star luxury hotel in the heart of the Alpine Garden. It is the first hotel to feature a Givenchy Spa Des Neiges (Snow Spa).  Covering nearly 600 sq meters, the treatment centre offers specialised pre- and après-ski  treatments, intended to prepare and relax muscles in order to enjoy the snow and the skiing.

It also offers every form of relaxation message, from a four-hands Ylang Ylang variety through to foot reflexology and a wide range of facials and grooming treatments.  The hotel itself is a picture-postcard destination: refined, peaceful and elegant, with a great pool ad two in-house designer fashion boutiques (Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior). For food you will appreciate the 1947 restaurant with a terrace on to the Alpine Garden.

Alpina Dolomites Garden, Italy
Combining excellent skiing and a five-star luxury spa, Alpina Dolomites Garden is an enviable destination.  It is on the Dolomiti Superski ciruit, where you can ski or snowboard your heart out across 1,220km pistes.  The whole hotel was design to respect the environment, with balconies and terraces overlooking the mountains and chic bio-fireplaces, which are a little more eco-friendly than those of the average ski retreat.

The Alpina Dolomites Garden offers a mixture of new and traditional.  There is the Finish sauna, but they are combined with bespoke health programmes to help boost your immune system. The bio-saunas are a favourite; it features aromatic herbs, saline and aromatic steam baths, the relaxation area offers dramatic mountain views.  The beauty area uses chic Aveda and Sothys Paris products and there’s a choice of indoor or outdoor (heated) swimming pools also with stunning views of the Dolomites.
