European Night Out in Prague, Amsterdam and Hungary

Over the last decade, Prague has become a real favourite of Brits abroad looking for a great night out, whether it’s in the pubs and bars of the Old Town – popular with tourists – or the winding streets and secret cafes of the Lucerne Passage. Beer is incredibly cheap and consumed pretty much around the clock, so make sure to line your stomach in one of the city’s many schnitzel restaurants!

Traditionally a hit with stag and hen parties from the UK, Amsterdam is one of the best nights out in Europe, with music festivals, bars, clubs and cafes galore. The infamous Red Light District features several themed bars best described as ‘eye-popping’, while Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein are the largest clubbing areas to head to, catering for fans of everything from techno to trance, dub-step and funk.

Hungary may not be the first destination that springs to mind when discussing potential city breaks with your friends, but Budapest is home to plenty of bars, clubs, music halls and discos to dance the night away. There are party boats on the river Danube, pub crawls through the ornate streets and downtown you’ll even find thermal baths with music, laser effects and light shows.
